This was based off a bit I created the year before about a singing telegram service that specializes in delivering bad news to the family members of patients. I originally made about six or seven songs to go with this bit but most of these did not make it in. The original song I wrote was called "Down Syndrome" sung to the James Bond Theme and did not make it into the final bit because I thought it went way too far. Mocking Medical malpractice and AIDS is one thing but making fun of kids with a serious problem is too far. The only song that came from this original seven that made it into the bit was the song about the guy getting his nads ripped off as sung to Greensleeves. The other two songs in the bit were written later when I decided to turn it into a bit for ADT. The Malpractice song was one that was based off an earlier song from the original seven. The AIDS song was the only truly original song I wrote for the ADT version. I threw a hospital ad around the songs to bring them all together. I could have thought of something cleverer but I am admittedly a lazy person.
