The paper-cutout style used for this animation was inspired by the end credit sequence from the anime Pretty Sammy.

There were a couple different possible endings I had considered using for this cartoon. One was an exterior shot of the bar and a slow tilt up to the starry sky above. Another ending featured a long zoom out from the bar... continuing until we see the earth and the moon... which then get crushed by a gigantic space anvil. The space anvil ending was very nearly used, but had to be cut due to timing issues.
