One day during freshman year I was back at home and I was playing around with some voices. One of these voices was a deep, gruff voice which would eventually be known as Max "The Maniac" Sembello but at this time I hadn't come up with any of his backstory. My little brother and my mom were sitting around in the living room when I started to just spout off mother goose stories in the voice. I got quite a few laughs. I started to imagine the character as a hitman and started to concentrate on the Goldilocks story. After about a half hour of just improvising with the story I had what would become the first storytime completely done. A few weeks later Mike needed someone to help him out with a project he was working on. I spent most of a good Sunday wandering around the woods (with a pretty bad hangover from the kegger I attended the night before) with he, matt, and Sarah. I knew that mike and matt did comedy bits for the radio station so I told them I had this idea which they might like. I performed the bit for them, they laughed their asses off, I came up with a name for the character and the rest is history.
